Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating individualized care plans, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and documenting care based on standards of practice. The RN advocates for evidence-based practices and provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing models. Additional duties include floating to units within competency as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a MS/Tele unit within a major acute care hospital setting.
- Strong MS/Tele background.
- ASN degree.
- ACLS-AHA certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- BLS-AHA certification.
- CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours certification.
- Telemetry certification.
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ventilator management experience.
- Post-cardiac surgery experience.
- Post-surgical experience.
- Neuro experience.
- Epic charting experience.
- BSN degree.
