Job Summary: The ER Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and approved organizational standards. The nurse will assess and evaluate patient care needs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and caregivers, and prioritize all aspects of patient care. Additionally, the role includes managing assignments, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Active NYS RN License
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience (adults and/or pediatrics)
- 1 year of travel experience with EPIC experience highly preferred
- Trauma experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, CEN
- BSN degree
- PALS certification
- NIHSS Certification

- Engages in formal and informal peer and institutional review processes
