Travel Mammographer | $3520 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 40hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Mammographer to join our outpatient team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in both screening and diagnostic mammography on 3D equipment and the ability to provide compassionate patient care in a walk-in setting.

Schedule & Shift
Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
40 hours per week
Mix of 10-hour and 8-hour shifts (to be discussed during interview)
No call, no weekends

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Brookline, MA

Responsibilities
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms on 3D machine according to established protocols
Manage walk-in patients in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality imaging
Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures clearly
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Follow radiation safety standards and quality control procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure timely and accurate results

Requirements
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
MA Radiologic Technologist certification required
Active MA license (required at time of submission or obtained during onboarding)
Experience with standard mammography on 3D machine required
1-2 years of mammography experience
BLS-AHA certification required
Current flu vaccination required

Preferred Qualifications
DEXA experience (bonus, but not required)
X-ray tech experience (bonus, but not required)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to manage high patient volume in outpatient setting
