Travel Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery | $2556 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week
Job Details:

Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM | Night Shift
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Dates: September 14, 2026 – December 13, 2026
On-Call: No
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The ideal candidate will have strong L&D experience and the ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
✓ Provide nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
✓ Perform maternal and fetal assessments and continuously monitor patient status.
✓ Monitor fetal heart rate and recognize changes requiring intervention.
✓ Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
✓ Assist physicians and the healthcare team during deliveries and procedures.
✓ Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and changes in patient condition.
✓ Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
✓ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
✓ Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
Qualifications/Initial Requirement
✓ Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or eligible compact license.
✓ Previous Labor & Delivery nursing experience required.
✓ Strong knowledge of maternal and fetal monitoring and obstetric nursing practices.
✓ Excellent clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
✓ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
✓ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced L&D environment.
