Description
Title: Radiology Interventional Technologist (IR Tech)
Location: Detroit, MI 48202
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Experience:
• Assist Radiologist with complex invasive interventional procedures
• Prepare patients, contrast media, medications, and IV solutions
• Set up and maintain sterile fields, monitors, and imaging equipment
• Perform imaging procedures using radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Manage PACS/RIS documentation and image quality control
• Provide patient monitoring before, during, and after procedures
• Minimum 3 years IR experience
• Trauma Level 1 facility experience required
• Cath Lab experience required
• Must work as IR Tech (not general X-ray)
Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; continued medical education required
License: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
Certification: BLS (AHA)
