Description

Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Southfield, MI 48075
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights, 3 days/week
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
• Delivers life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and medical gas therapy
• Performs invasive and non-invasive respiratory diagnostic procedures in ICU and general units
• Experience managing ICU patient assignments (up to 6 beds) and treatment areas (up to 20 patients)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adequate documentation of patient care and clinical activities
Education: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Bachelor’s preferred)
License:
• Current Michigan State License – Respiratory Therapist
Certification:
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Required
• NBRC Registration
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
