Occupational Health Nurse
Position Overview
Be the driving force behind a safer, healthier workplace. We’re seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to lead onsite care, injury prevention, and wellness programs that keep our team thriving.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite nursing care, assessments, triage, referrals, and follow‑up for injuries and illnesses.
- Manage workers’ compensation cases and support return‑to‑work and fit‑for‑duty processes.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and company health and safety policies.
- Administer programs including drug/alcohol testing, hearing conservation, emergency response, and safety training.
- Maintain accurate medical records and OSHA documentation.
- Promote wellness through education, early intervention, and resource awareness.
- Collaborate with HR, Safety, management, and healthcare providers to support employee well‑being.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) required; BSN preferred.
- 5+ years of occupational health nursing experience (manufacturing preferred).
- Knowledge of OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation.
- Strong communication, organization, and case‑management skills.
- CAOHC and COHN/COHN‑S certifications preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; current CPR certification.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary starting at $90,000+.
