Type of Opportunity: Part time FTE: 0.60 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: 12 Hour Nights (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

As a Postpartum Registered Nurse you will provide compassionate, family‑centered care by using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for mothers and newborns. RNs prioritize patient needs, manage time and resources effectively, and deliver care within a standards‑based framework.

  • Provide direct nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns throughout the shift.
  • Perform newborn assessments, maternal postpartum assessments, and monitor for complications.
  • Support breastfeeding and newborn care education for parents and families.
  • Administer medications, perform routine procedures, and document accurately.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, coordinated patient care.

Qualifications:

  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse License required
  • Degree from accredited academic nursing program
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
