RN Coordinator of Infection Prevention

Job Summary and Qualifications

​​The Coordinator of Infection Prevention promotes and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by assisting with the administration of Infection Prevention policies, procedures and programs. As a member of the Infection Prevention program and team, the Coordinator identifies, investigates, reports, and monitors the incidence of nosocomial infections among patients and personnel, and  implements policies and procedures to prevent cross-contamination. The Coordinator  is also responsible for assisting with in service programs related to infection prevention and infection control, and with the clinical aspects of the Employee Health Program, including pre-employment processing, occupational health testing and surveillance. ​ 

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• (CIC) Certified in Infection Control must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
• Bachelors Degree

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Offering a full range of services. We are home to the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast.
