Work Schedule:
90% FTE. Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 am – 5:00 pm. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center both located in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
Deliver compassionate, multidisciplinary, coordinated care for all breast patients through comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care.
Work in partnership with breast cancer patients and families through prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship.
Provide patient education and coordinate care for patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer or other breast conditions.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes genetic counselors, breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical oncologist, radiologist, radiation oncologist and advanced practice providers.
Use targeted assessment skills to assess patients during visits and via telephone triage.

- Graduate of school of nursing Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- 6 months of RN experience Required
- Relevant Inpatient RN experience Preferred
- Ambulatory experience Preferred
- Relevant oncology experience Preferred
- Chemotherapy experience Preferred
- Experience with Venous Access Devices (VADs) and IV skills Preferred
- Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
- Current CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
- Certification in specialty area of practice Preferred
