Work Schedule:
90% FTE. Rotate working between the inpatient Hematology, Oncology, Stem Cell Transplant and Palliative Care unit and the outpatient Chemotherapy Clinic at University Hospital in Madison, WI. For the inpatient unit you will work 8/12-hour day/evening shifts with a weekend rotation. Chemo clinic hours are between 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, including a mix of 8 and 10-hour shifts (no weekends for chemo clinic).

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
- Join a team of remarkable nurses who use compassion, collaboration, and expertise to care for inspiring patients.
- Provide care across multiple oncology areas, including Infusion, the Carbone Cancer Clinic Lab, and the Chemotherapy Clinic.
- Build meaningful, therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
- Administer IV medications and chemotherapy treatments safely and effectively.
- Access central venous access devices for blood draws and place peripheral IVs using advanced techniques and technology designed to minimize patient discomfort and optimize site selection.
- Participate in ongoing oncology education and professional growth opportunities.

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- 6 months of inpatient medical/surgical nursing experience Required
- 2 years of relevant oncology or hematology/BMT or Gynecology oncology clinical experience Preferred
- Ambulatory experience Preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where practicing or may work under a compact license per state regulations Upon Hire Required
- CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
- Telemetry certification Preferred
- Chemotherapy certification Preferred
- OCN certification Preferred
