CT Scan Technologist 

Location: Madison, WI
Facility: Meriter Hospital
Contract Length: 20 Weeks
Start Date: January 19, 2026
Shift: Nights, 40 hours/week, 4x10s, Monday through Thursday

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role involves producing high-quality CT scans, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment following radiation safety protocols.
• Position patients accurately and administer oral or IV contrast as needed.
• Assist radiologists with imaging and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient condition and sedation levels during scans.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper labeling.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging.
• ARRT certification (if required by state or contract).
• Current CPR certification.
• Health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).
• Strong communication and technical skills.

Additional Details

• Hourly Rate: $41/hr.
• OT Rate: $61.50
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major winter holidays.
• Floating: May be required within discipline across campuses.
• EMR: EPIC.
