Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services in support of student success. The OT will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver direct therapy, and maintain accurate documentation for each student in alignment with their plan of care.

This role is full-time, offers a consistent weekly schedule, and provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development and functional skills in an educational environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy services targeting fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional school skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress.
• Accurately document all therapy services, progress, and recommendations in accordance with school and state requirements.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe therapy practices at all times.
• Communicate effectively with families and school personnel regarding student needs and progress.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the school or supervisory team.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
• One (1) year of OT experience preferred
• Knowledge of and compliance with professional standards of practice
• Current CPR certification (if applicable)
• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as required)
• Current health certificate (as required by state/contract)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local regulations
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Assignment Details

• Hours: 40 per week
• Shift: Weekdays

Compensation

Local OT

• Pay Rate: $75/hour
• Weekly Amount: Based on hours worked

Travel OT

• Pay Rate: $35.50/hour
• Meals: $644/week
• Housing: $1,435/week
• Total Weekly Package: $3,419
