Amergis Educational Staffing is actively hiring Occupational Therapists for full-time, onsite school-based positions in Santa Maria, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. We are interviewing now—secure your role early and lock in your assignment for next year.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, providing direct services, and documenting progress in alignment with each student’s plan of care.

Position Details

• Modality: School-Based Occupational Therapist

• Openings: 10

• Hours: 40 hours/week

• Schedule: Weekdays

• Contract Length: 36 weeks

• Start Date: August 13, 2026

• Interview: Virtual interview required

Minimum Requirements

• Active California Occupational Therapy License (California Board of Occupational Therapy)

• One year of professional OT experience preferred

• Compliance with all professional standards of practice

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as applicable)

• Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
