The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians with diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab.  The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist specializes in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations.  The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist functions as a technical resource and provides scrub assistance to cardiologists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CCI or AART certification/registration required
• State Licensure may be required per state/contract
• At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
• ACLS/PALS per contract requirements
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
