Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift
Terre Haute, IN

Direct Hire | Full-Time | Night Shift

A well-known, community-focused hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana is hiring Med/Surg Registered Nurses for permanent, full-time night shift roles. This opportunity offers strong onboarding, supportive leadership, and long-term career growth in a collaborative acute-care environment.

Pay: Up to $45/hour base pay + $5 night shift differential

Shift Details

12-hour shifts
7:00p–7:30a
Night and weekend shift differentials offered (amount varies by unit)

Units Available

Med/Surg – Stroke Step-Down
- Post-stroke and hospitalist patients
Med/Surg – Renal-Focused / Medical Max Care
- Dialysis and fluid overload patients
- Telemetry as ordered (monitored 24/7)
- Some BiPAP/step-down respiratory support

(Unit placement based on experience and preference)

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate up to $45/hour (DOE)
Shift differentials available (up to $10/hr)

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per orders
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge
Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
Follow safety, infection prevention, and unit protocols
Communicate and escalate changes in patient condition as needed

Requirements

Active Indiana RN license (or compact eligible)
BLS certification (required)
Graduate of an accredited ASN/ADN or BSN nursing program
Previous RN experience preferred
New grads may be considered based on unit and orientation availability
