Direct Hire | Full-Time | Night Shift
Job Description
A large regional referral hospital and Level II Trauma Center in the Winchester, Virginia area is hiring a Med/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent, full-time role. This role requires utilizing clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to carry out the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation, and time management. The RN promotes quality communication, teamwork, leadership, and professionalism while coordinating patient education, safety initiatives, and interdisciplinary care.
Position Overview
- Permanent, full-time role
- Start date: ASAP
- Level II Trauma Center environment
- Provides care for assigned patient populations
Shift Details
- 12hr night shifts
- 36 hours per week
Compensation & Incentives
- Pay range: $35.44 – $46.44 per hour (based on experience)
- Shift differentials if applicable
- Eligible for up to $20,000 sign-on bonus
- Relocation assistance available up to $7,500

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process
- Monitor and manage telemetry and cardiac patients
- Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care and education
- Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
- Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
- Complete required competencies and professional development activities
- Participate in peer review, unit education, and patient satisfaction initiatives
- Etc.
Requirements
- Active RN License to work in the state of Virginia
- BLS (AHA)
- 1+ years clinical experience as a Med/Tele RN in a hospital setting
- Associates in Nursing
