Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: August 3, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 13-week assignment. Patient ratio of 4:1 during weekdays, 1:1 on weekends. Approximately 8 patient visits per day with an average daily census of 175.

• Travel assignment welcoming first-time travelers with one year of experience

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico Physical Therapy license (pending licenses accepted with 3-week estimated time of arrival)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Experience with acute care, gait training, discharge planning, patient/family education, and home exercise programs
• Proficiency in treating orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric patient populations
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile local radius from the facility
