Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: May 26, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), flexible 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage as needed. Patient ratio of 6:1.

Highlights:

First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
Care for stroke patients and post-surgical patients on a dedicated med/surg telemetry floor
Telemetry central monitoring support available 24/7 – no dysrhythmia interpretation required
Epic charting system in use
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
24-hour orientation with 91-day contract duration

Requirements:

Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start)
Minimum 1 year of medical surgical nursing experience
Epic charting system experience required
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred
Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
Willingness to float to like units as needed
Proficiency in telemetry, IV management, blood product administration, wound care, and post-operative care
