Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00); 4x12 available upon request. Patient ratio 1:3. Orientation: 36 hours. 10-bed unit with approximately 12 daily census and 200-300 births per month.

• LDRP position requiring both labor and delivery and postpartum experience

• Guaranteed hours with minimal call-off exposure (once per two-week pay period maximum)

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting system experience required
• Hard-stop requirement: labor and delivery AND postpartum experience mandatory
• Strong clinical skills including circulating for C-sections, high-risk antepartum care, triage of obstetrical patients, magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, anticoagulation therapy, central line maintenance, IUPC placement and calibration, and sterile vaginal exams
• Willingness to float between hospital and affiliate facilities nearby
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
