Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist – Apple Valley, CA 92307

Start Date: June 16, 2026

Location: Southern California

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts). This is a 13-week assignment at a 212-bed acute care hospital.

Highlights:

• Work in a community-based acute care hospital setting treating diverse patient populations including orthopedic, cardiac, and post-surgical cases
• Treat a variety of diagnoses including total hip and knee replacements, cardiac surgeries, fractures, strokes, and general medical conditions
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum one year of acute care experience
• Free parking provided
• Block scheduling may be accommodated per manager discretion

Requirements:

• Active California Physical Therapy license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care physical therapy experience
• LA fire card within the last 30 days required
• Strong skills in acute care treatment, home exercise programs, gait training, patient/family education, and experience with emergency, ICU, medical surgical, and orthopedic populations
• Proficiency in assistive devices, body mechanics, pain assessment, strength testing, vital signs monitoring, and discharge planning
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
