Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Apple Valley, CA 92307

Start Date: June 16, 2026

Location: Apple Valley, California

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. On-call coverage required weeknights (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM). Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.

• Work in a 2-room Cath Lab performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Transportation
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of orientation provided

• Treat adult and geriatric populations with a variety of cardiac and vascular conditions

Requirements:

• Active California Registered Nurse license (must be in hand prior to start)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in Cath Lab (required)
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
• Experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, and circulating procedures
• Familiarity with special equipment including Alaris pumps, FFR, angiojet, PV atherectomy, defibrillators, and crash carts
• Knowledge of procedures including heart catheterization, pacemaker/ICD placement, cardiac angiography, peripheral vascular studies, carotid stenting, and moderate sedation
• LA County Fire Life Safety card within 30 days required
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
