Description
Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – Santa Monica, CA 90404
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Beachside acute care facility in Santa Monica, California
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00), Monday through Friday with on-call requirements including weekend call coverage. Three weekends required every six-week schedule.
Highlights:
- 266-bed acute care hospital serving as a STEMI and Stroke receiving center with four cath labs
- Support diverse procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional neuroradiology, and interventional radiology
- Work with advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, and VTE thrombectomy
- Collaborate with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Daily census of 6-8 patients across specialized cardiovascular and interventional procedures
- Epic charting system with orientation provided
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of acute care Cath Lab experience required
- Active California state license (must be in hand prior to submission)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (Advanced Certification) or RCIS, and California Fluoroscopy Permit
- Stroke and interventional radiology experience strongly preferred
- LA County Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days required
- Willingness to float between specialties within the lab
- Ability to work on-call shifts including weekdays and weekends
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
