Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage as needed. Patient ratio of 6:1. Floating to like units as needed based on facility requirements.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment on a medical surgical floor specializing in stroke and surgical patients
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum one year of experience
• Telemetry central monitoring support available 24/7; interpretation of dysrhythmias not required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 24-hour orientation period with onsite training modules
• Unit census of approximately 30 patients with 39 beds available

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (New Mexico or Compact license required prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of medical surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in medical surgical and telemetry nursing skills including stroke care, post-surgical management, IV therapy, and wound care
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius from facility
