Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Apple Valley, CA 92307
Start Date: June 30, 2026
Location: Apple Valley, California
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 0700-1730. On-call required weeknights 1730-0700 and weekends (Friday 1730 through Monday 0700). Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.
Highlights:
- 212-bed acute care hospital with 2-room Cath Lab utilizing Epic charting system
- Work with adult and geriatric patient populations presenting with STEMI, arrhythmias, kidney and carotid blockages
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, and circulate procedures
- Specialized procedures include heart catheterization, pacemaker/ICD placement, cardiac angiography, peripheral vascular studies, carotid stenting, and moderate sedation
- Interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation teams
- Free parking available
Requirements:
- Active California RN license required prior to start
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in Cath Lab (required)
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
- Diagnostic cardiac Cath Lab experience including cardiac stent placement and right/left heart catheterization
- LA fire card within the last 30 days required
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
