Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Apple Valley, CA 92307

Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Apple Valley, California

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. On-call required weeknights 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM). Weekend coverage may exceed every other weekend to meet facility needs. Assignment duration: 13 weeks.

Highlights:

Acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds utilizing Epic charting system
2-room Cath Lab performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including STEMI, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular studies
Comprehensive procedural exposure: cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/ICD placement, cardiac angiography, carotid stenting, and moderate sedation
Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation
Free parking provided for staff
Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius

Requirements:

Active California RN license required prior to start
Minimum 2 years acute care RN experience with at least 1 year in Cath Lab (required)
Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not eligible
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Demonstrated experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterization, cardiac stent placement, circulating procedures, and right and left heart catheterization
LA fire card within the last 30 days required at time of start
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
