Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Patient ratio of 1:2. 36-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 16-bed Medical-Surgical ICU with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with diverse critical care diagnoses
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and phlebotomy
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the unit
• Access to advanced equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) and full critical care technology
• 13-week travel assignment with overtime opportunities after 48 hours in one week

Requirements:

• Active Texas or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drip titration, and critical care skills
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
