Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Santa Rosa, CA 95405
Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with 4x12 available upon request. Patient ratios of 1:3. This is a 13-week travel assignment at a 277-bed acute care hospital.
Highlights:
- Labor and delivery experience with post-partum skills required
- 36-hour comprehensive orientation program
- Epic charting system utilized
- Interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- May float to postpartum and affiliated facilities as needed
- Guaranteed hours with limited call-off provision
Requirements:
- Active California RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
- Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
- Epic charting experience required
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
- Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Candidates within 50-mile radius are not eligible at standard rates
