Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Mission Viejo, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30). Call required. Weekend work expected, potentially more than every other weekend to meet unit needs. Scheduling preferences considered but not guaranteed. Must be open to working weekends and committing to 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

488-bed acute care hospital utilizing Epic charting system
91-day travel assignment with 40 hours of paid orientation

Opportunity to work in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
May be required to float to affiliated facilities in the region
Royal blue scrub color for registered nurses

Requirements:

Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience required
Cath Lab experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Proficiency in left and right heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line monitoring, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia management
Experience with electronic charting systems required
LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days (required for compliance)
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
