Description
Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Lubbock, TX 79410
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Schedule: Night shift, 7 days on/7 days off, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Position will transition to day shift in July/August 2026 to provide FMLA coverage through January 2027. Every other weekend required.
Highlights:
- Work at a 181-bed children's hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Block schedule with rotating weeks on/off for optimal work-life balance
- Epic charting system experience required
- Serve diverse pediatric populations including neonates, infants, and adolescents
- 91-day assignment with potential extension for FMLA coverage
- Free parking provided in unrestricted spaces
Requirements:
- Active Texas pharmacy license required at submission
- PharmD and RPh certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience required
- Pediatric exposure or experience strongly preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Candidates with only retail pharmacy experience will not be considered
- Clean background check required (facility does not accept Nursys or background hits)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
