Job Opportunity – OB Tech – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: July 2026

Location: Beachside acute care hospital in Santa Monica, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 13-week assignment

• Support Labor & Delivery unit with C-sections, cerclage removals, and vaginal deliveries

• Local candidates accepted for this position

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of OB Tech experience required
• Active California state license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• LA County fire card obtained within last 30 days required
• Skills required: C-sections, vaginal delivery, aseptic technique, sterilization/disinfection, case cart management, equipment documentation
• Preferred skills: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, D&C, laparoscopic procedures, obstetrical case trays, and SPD decontamination equipment
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
