Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist – Torrance, CA 90503

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:15 - 16:15). Includes one Saturday day shift (8 hours) with rotating weekly call coverage. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• 356-bed acute care hospital with 11 operating rooms and daily census of 25-35 procedures
• State-of-the-art surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi and Mako robotic systems
• Diverse surgical specialties: neuro (craniotomy and spine), orthopedics, general, gynecologic, urologic, ENT, vascular, cardiothoracic, and reconstructive procedures
• Epic charting system with free parking provided
• Neuro experience is a plus; locals and first-time travelers accepted
• May float to sister facilities within the region as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of surgical technologist experience required
• Active California license in hand prior to start
• BLS certification and NBSTSA certification required
• LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days
• Community hospital experience required
• Proficiency in laparoscopic procedures, robotic surgery, orthopedic cases, and general surgical procedures preferred
• Experience with instrument processing, sterilization, and case cart preparation
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
