Description
Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (21:00 - 07:30), 13-week assignment. Weekend coverage includes one Saturday overnight shift. One week of call required per contract. 80 hours of orientation provided.
Highlights:
- Short-term acute care facility with 418 staffed beds serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Level III trauma center minimum experience utilizing GE scanner technology
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
- Epic charting system with advanced 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and PACS capabilities
- Opportunity to work with diverse imaging modalities including CT arthrography, vascular CTA, cardiac imaging, and trauma protocols
- Six days of requested time off can be auto-approved (3 consecutive days or 6 total days)
Requirements:
- Active Oregon State OBMI license (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Current ARRT CT certification and BLS required
- Minimum one year of CT technologist experience with travel experience required
- Epic charting system experience is mandatory
- Hospital acute care experience required with direct patient care within the last year
- Level III trauma facility experience at minimum; experience with GE scanners required
- Proficiency in venipuncture, IV starts, contrast administration, and radiation safety protocols
- Experience with emergency department, ICU, and isolation precautions/PPE
- Reliable personal vehicle required for this assignment
- Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
