Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 13-week assignment. Weekend coverage required based on staffing needs. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period with potential for one call-off per two weeks.

Diverse patient population including cardiac, respiratory, neuro, renal, and complex medical-surgical cases
Epic charting system with free parking and scrubs provided

Requirements:

Active Alaska RN license or ability to complete application within 48 hours of signing
Minimum 1 year of progressive care, stepdown, or comparable experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Epic charting experience required
Experience with 1:4 patient ratios
Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers or declination not accepted)
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
Willingness to float to lower acuity units, renal care, neuro, and medical-surgical areas
Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
