Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week period. Floating between units required.

Highlights:

  • 379-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation
  • Telemetry unit with 26 beds and average daily census of 25 patients
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 across all shifts
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of paid orientation
  • Free parking available in surface lots designated for employees and visitors

Requirements:

  • Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of telemetry or acute care nursing experience
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Experience with Epic charting system required
  • Experience with 4-5 patient ratios required
  • Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
  • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, post-cardiac catheterization care, and blood product administration
  • 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Must comply with uniform dress code: solid navy blue scrubs for licensed nursing personnel
