Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Fullerton, CA 92835

Start Date: July 2026

Location: Orange County, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM). On-call requirement: 7 days per pay period (2 nights per week post-shift plus 1 weekend every 2 weeks). Weekend coverage required, may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs. Facility may call off once per two-week pay period.

• 320-bed acute care hospital with 4-bed Cath Lab unit
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Work with advanced cardiac technology including Impella and balloon pump equipment
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Free parking and interdisciplinary support including pharmacy and interpretation services
• 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension after 3-month break

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required (1.5 years may be considered for strong candidates)
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers cannot be considered
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• LA County fire card obtained within the last 30 days
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including cardiac stent placement, PCI, left and right heart catheterization, and IABP placement/removal
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
