Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Orthopedics – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 1:5 patient ratio, 10-bed orthopedic unit

Highlights:

• Specialized orthopedic nursing in a 10-bed dedicated unit caring for adult patients
• Work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
• Collaborative interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• First-time travelers welcomed with comprehensive 36-hour orientation program
• 91-day assignment offering valuable experience in total joint replacement and orthopedic trauma care

Requirements:

• Active Idaho or Compact RN license required at time of application
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic nursing experience required
• Current BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius from facility
