Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist – Torrance, CA 90503

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (10:45 AM - 8:45 PM). On-call rotation required with one Saturday shift per rotation week. Assignment duration of 13 weeks.

• Acute care hospital with 356 staffed beds and 11 operating rooms serving 25-35 daily census
• Diverse surgical caseload including neuro, ortho, robotics, general, gynecologic, urologic, ENT, vascular, cardiothoracic, and reconstructive procedures
• Advanced technology including Da Vinci Xi and Mako robotic surgical systems
• Epic charting system with free parking provided
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Opportunity to gain experience across multiple specialties and surgical techniques

Requirements:

• Valid California Surgical Technologist license (must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification required; NBSTSA certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of surgical technology experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with laparoscopic-assisted procedures and general OR essential
• Neurosurgical experience strongly preferred
• LA County Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days required
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Willingness to float between partner facilities as needed
