Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Technologist – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Beachside acute care facility in Santa Monica, California

Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with rotating weekend on-call coverage (Saturday and Sunday 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM). 5x8-hour shifts per week. No floating required between units.

Highlights:

• Work at a 266-bed acute care hospital in a beautiful beachside location
• Perform general ultrasound and interventional procedures including biopsies, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
• Mix of outpatient and inpatient scheduling with diverse patient population
• Epic charting system with 2-room ultrasound department and average daily census of 11 patients
• 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation and support
• Orientation provided with 16 hours of onsite training

Requirements:

• Active California license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Current BLS certification required
• RDMS certification in AB, OB, or BR required
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• LA County fire card within last 30 days required
• Proficiency with Philips equipment (hard stop requirement)
• Experience with M-Mode baby imaging required
• Strong skills in abdominal, OB (all trimesters), breast, pediatric, and interventional ultrasound procedures
