Job Opportunity – Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer – Missoula, MT 59802

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Missoula, Montana

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00). On-call and weekend coverage as needed. Floating between units required.

Highlights:

• 209-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma designation
• Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations performing resting echocardiograms, exercise stress/dobutamine echocardiograms, and TEEs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and assist with cath lab procedures as needed
• Daily caseload of approximately 6-8 studies depending on shift
• Epic charting system in modern healthcare facility
• 13-week travel assignment in beautiful western Montana

Requirements:

• Current Montana state license or Compact license
• RDCS or RCS certification required
• ARDMS or CCI Registry certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac sonography experience
• Proficiency with 3D Echo, M-Mode, adult acute care, bubble studies, TEE, and stress echo procedures
• Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Neonatal and pediatric acute care experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
