Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week available. Patient ratios 1:4-5. Weekend coverage as needed on a rotating basis.

• 55-bed unit with a daily census of approximately 38 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Flexible scheduling with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• Float to similar units within scope as needed
• 24-36 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact state license required prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care experience; 2 years preferred
• Cardiovascular experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; CPI preferred
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drips, post-cardiac procedures, and cardiovascular patient populations
• Proficiency with central line management, chest tubes, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, and procedural sedation
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from the facility
