Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Hobbs, NM 88240

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Hobbs, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00). On-call required 1-2 weekdays and 1-2 weekends per month depending on rotation. Weekends not routinely required outside of call coverage.

• Reduced non-billable orientation: 0 hours versus standard 40-hour orientation
• 91-day travel assignment at a 61-bed short-term acute care facility
• Work with top three service lines: general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedics
• Five operating rooms with an average daily census of six cases
• 1:1 patient ratio serving circulator role in the OR
• Free parking and interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy

Requirements:

• Active compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Knowledge and skills in orthopedic, general, gynecological, and podiatry procedures
• Proficiency with procedures including total joint replacement, laparoscopic procedures, hysterectomies, arthroscopy, trauma care, and specimen handling
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates must reside outside 50-mile local radius
