Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 15:30), primarily 8:30 start with some variable shifts. Reduced non-billable orientation (0 hours vs. standard 40 hours).

• Outpatient OR setting at an acute care facility specializing in orthopedics, urology, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, and pain management
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of OR experience required
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Reduced orientation period allows for faster integration into the team
• Professional dress code with scrubs or business casual attire
• Interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and unit secretaries

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license (pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Proficiency in ambulatory OR procedures including laparoscopic, arthroscopic, and general surgical cases
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Flexibility to float to main OR or affiliate facilities as needed
• Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days during assignment
