Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: South Lake Tahoe, California

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7pm-7am, 36 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements:

• Current California RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Previous medical-surgical and/or orthopedic experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of start date
• PEARS and NIHSS certifications required
• Completion of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Proficient computer skills for electronic medical records documentation
• Ability to lift and move minimum of 50 pounds
• Comprehensive background check, drug screening (9-panel urine), and immunization records required
• Candidate must be aware of oral swab testing for THC metabolites on first day of assignment
