Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage as needed.

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiovascular patients at a dedicated cardiac facility
• 55-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5
• 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive orientation and interdisciplinary support
• Work with a diverse patient population including CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and other cardiovascular conditions
• Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license required prior to start; pending license accepted at submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or stepdown experience preferred (1+ years considered)
• Cardiovascular experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required; CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, cardiac drip management, central line care, and post-cardiac procedure care
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
