Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Burbank, CA 91505
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Burbank, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Case load up to 25 patients. Weekend requirement typically one full weekend per 4 weeks, subject to department need. 13-week assignment (91 days).
Highlights:
- Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in an acute care setting
- Utilize Epic charting system for computerized documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care coordination and discharge planning
- Gain experience with HMOs, IPAs, and assessing medical necessity per evidence-based guidelines
- 40 hours of orientation provided to support your transition

Requirements:
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of acute medical Case Manager experience performing care coordination and discharge planning
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Experience with admission criteria, discharge planning, disease management, DRG, CPT coding, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA compliance
- Knowledge of ICU, SDU/PCU/IMC/Obs settings preferred
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment period
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
