Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department Charge – Roswell, NM 88201

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Roswell, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, alternating between 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next week (4x12-hour and 3x12-hour rotation, 18:00 - 06:30). Every other weekend required. 13-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Charge RN position with additional compensation for all hours worked in charge role
• Emergency Department with 10 beds serving a daily census of approximately 45 visits
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Care for diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• 24-36 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (New Mexico or Compact license required prior to start)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous Charge RN experience required
• Experience with 4:1 patient ratios
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC and CPI preferred
• Proficiency in emergency nursing skills including IV management, blood product administration, central line care, ventilated patient care, and triage
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the area
