Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:2. Weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per schedule period). Floating to similar units may be required with a maximum of 4 patients when floated.

32-bed intensive care unit caring for adult patient population
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
24-36 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
Pending New Mexico or Compact state license accepted (must be obtained prior to start date)
13-week assignment with competitive travel nursing benefits

Requirements:

Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact state; pending license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with ICU patient ratios
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS required
Proficiency in ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, and blood product administration
Experience with critical care skills including BiPAP/CPAP, continuous IV sedation, dysrhythmia management, and ABG interpretation
Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
Ability to complete onsite compliance modules and lab work within 48 business hours of contract signing
