Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Patient ratio of 1:2. Float based on schedule. 12-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment in a Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and daily census of 14 patients
• Work with a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Specialized equipment experience including CRRT (NXXT Stage)
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with diverse critical care needs
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios preferred
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
• Core competency items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
