Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio of 1:5-6. Weekend coverage required for approximately half of the contract duration.

Highlights:

• 36-bed telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care with all private rooms
• Patient population includes young adults through geriatric patients requiring medical-level cardiac care
• Work with patients recovering from cardiac interventions including cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implants
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• 91-day assignment with orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Texas or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac procedures, and vasoactive drip management
• Proficiency in IV management, central line care, arterial line management, and various cardiac interventions
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
